After some time, and ‘the holidays’, Kernel 3.12.7 has been released, and – as usual – the latest NVIDIA and VMware versions compile and run OK..

On my main system, I had been running into very infrequent (once every two/three weeks) X ‘freezes’ with NVIDIA driver 331.20, but have been running 319.76 with no problems..
