Just updated to Kernel 3.12.5, and quickly reverted to 3.12.4.. Update: the problem turned out to be a badly-timed coincidental update to MariaDB (5.5.34).. Reverting to the previous version (5.5.33a) fixed the problem.. Now running 3.12.5.. Just compiled and installed 3.7-rc1 on my test system, and ran into problems straight away..
