Forget 3.10.8, Here is 3.10.9!
Kernel 3.10.8 was released, followed very quickly by 3.10.9, which fixes some ‘networking issues’..
So, I went from 3.10.7 to 3.10.9, as this is recommended for ‘anyone who uses networking’ – in other words, just about everyone!
The latest NVIDIA driver – 325.15 – compiles and runs OK, as expected, and the patched VMware 9.02 works correctly..
