Back to the reality of Linux software, now..

Just tested the ‘patched’ VMware Workstation 9.0 with kernel 3.6-rc4, and it compiles, and runs, OK..

Linux rg6830l 3.6.0-rc4 #1 SMP Sat Sep 1 21:58:24 BST 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
