As expected, VMware 17 with the latest patchset is OK, but NVIDIA 525.60.13 fails to compile..

There is a provisional NVIDIA patch for kernel 6.2-rc1 available, but this has been produced for driver 470.xx, and does not apply cleanly to 525.60.13, but I hacked it (removing the mismatched nv-acpi.c part completely..) and managed to get it to apply successfully (with some ‘fuzz’…)..   The patch is at: https://gist.github.com/joanbm/963906fc6772d8955faf1b9cc46c6b04#file-nvidia-470xx-fix-linux-6-2-patch   and the warning about the edid ‘hack’ should be noted!

With this, driver 525.60.13 compiled and loaded/ran OK, and was tested with KDE/Plasma and VMware on Fedora 37..
