Well… This was supposed to be an article on Linux on the Zealz GK802…   Sadly, that is not going to happen.

The device I received in July 2013 died after only 20 minutes, and after a tortuous exchange of emails I managed to get a replacement sent, after I returned the faulty one.   This took (literally) months, due to postal delays to and from China.

Then, when I came to boot the replacement unit – nothing…..    Blank screen (HDMI) and nothing on the UART serial console.    So – my patience is exhausted..

Caveat Emptor!
