Turbo-Pi!
The recent announcement regarding ‘overclocking’ the Raspberry Pi was too good to ignore:
http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/2008
So, as most Pi stuff seems to be Debian-centric these days, this is how I did it for Fedora… This method should also work for any other distro..
You will need to compile and install the latest version of the Pi 3.2.27 kernel (as described elsewhere in this blog..), and the configuration tool raspi-config can be downloaded from https://github.com/asb/raspi-config. The raspi-config script should be copied to /usr/bin..
Then, just run (as root..) the raspi-config script, and select the options required:
After OK-ing the warning, just select Turbo for the full overclock, save (OK) and then reboot..
Thanks are due to Alex Bradbury, for creating raspi-config..
