NVIDIA – Fix for Kernel 5.0..
Thanks to Isaak I. Aleksandrov, there is a fix available for the latest NVIDIA driver and Kernel 5.0. See comment under previous article for details, and link to patch: http://rglinuxtech.com/?p=2476
I have applied the patch to driver 415.27, and it now compiles OK, with Kernel 5.0-rc3:

And runtime tested OK with KDE/Plasma/VMware (Fedora 29).

The Fix works kinda, but if playing BF5 with DXVK (self compiled) (so using Vulkan) with this fix you get a 90 % Percent Chance of crashing the game either Ingame or direct after Startup.
Reverting to 4.20 all works OK.
I know it is a quite rare use case but wanted to note it anyway.
