Updated to Kernel 3.15-rc4 on my test system, and the latest VMware (10.0.2) and NVIDIA (337.12) still compile and run OK..

You will have to select the kernel.org versions of VMware modules, as the original VMware-supplied ones will not work..    See my original article at https://rglinuxtech.com/?p=1090
