VMware 10.0.2 – No Patch Needed..
Just upgraded to VMware Workstation 10.0.2, and no patches are needed… Tested with (Host) Kernels 3.14.1 and 3.15-rc2..

For me, 10.0.2 modules does not compile on 3.14.
It does only with this patch (I found it here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VMware)

The only difference from 10.0.1 is that it works without any patch on 3.13.
The vmware-supplied vmci has been replaced by the kernel module, at /usr/src/linux-3.14.X/drivers/misc/vmw_vmci..

If you have all the vmware kernel modules installed, the vmware install script will detect this, and not try to (re)compile the obsolete vmware-supplied ones..
