Well, the ‘Turbo’ Pi overclocking might be great for playing games (Quake 3, anyone?) but regular apps don’t like it. After applying the Turbo 1GHz overclock, I immediately had problems with yum / rpm segfaulting when run, so reverted to the standard 700MHz again, and all is well.. Just completed some basic tests with the new VMware Workstation 9.0 on my ‘test’ system (x86_64, Fedora 17)… Initial results.. Compiles and runs OK on kernel 3.4.9.
