As the Fedora 18 Beta had been stable on my x86_64 test system, I decided to update the Pi from F17 to F18.. As there is no ‘update’ image available, the only way is to use YUM.. Well, the ‘Turbo’ Pi overclocking might be great for playing games (Quake 3, anyone?) but regular apps don’t like it. After applying the Turbo 1GHz overclock, I immediately had problems with yum / rpm segfaulting when run, so reverted to the standard 700MHz again, and all is well..
