I have just updated the Raspberry Pi to kernel 3.2.29, from the latest Pi kernel 3.2.27 at https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux, plus the two incremental patches from ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/incr/ The system is OK, and USB seems to be more stable than before, even after plugging in USB1.1 devices.. Just completed some basic tests with the new VMware Workstation 9.0 on my ‘test’ system (x86_64, Fedora 17)… Initial results.. Compiles and runs OK on kernel 3.4.9. Compiles OK, but causes general protection fault (with tombstone..) on kernel 3.5.2.
