Just installed kernel 3.12-rc1 on the test system, and VMware 10.0 compiles OK.. Kernel 3.11.1 has been released, and VMware 10.0 and (patched) NVIDIA 325.15 compile and run OK.. Details are here: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.x/ChangeLog-3.11.1 In fact, there is a NVIDIA driver that compiles with 3.11 kernels unpatched, but it is the ‘legacy’ driver 173.14.38..
