For the upcoming Kernel 7.0, the current git version (February 15th) was tested, and the latest NVIDIA 590.48.01 and VMware 25.0 drivers compiled and loaded/ran successfully.. Kernel – 6.17-rc Pre-release testing.. NVIDIA fails, but (Patched) VMware OK..

Kernel 6.17-rc1 is due out in a weeks time, but I tried the latest GIT version from https://github.com/torvalds/linux to see if there will be any ‘surprises’..    Of course, there are many changes still to come..
