Just upgraded to VMware Workstation 11.0, and – as expected – it compiles and loads/runs OK with Kernel 3.17 (3.17.4) and 3.18 (3.18-rc7) without the need for any patches.. VMware have released VMware Workstation version 10.0.4, but it still doesn’t compile with Kernel 3.17 or later.. Tested the latest ‘main’ release of the NVIDIA driver – 340.58 – and it compiled/loaded with Kernel 3.18-rc3 without any patches..
