Tested the latest (July 21st) git version of pre-release Kernel 6.11, and this was OK with NVIDIA 555.58 and (patched) VMware 17.5.2..  (from https://github.com/nan0desu/vmware-host-modules/tree/tmp/workstation-17.5.2-k6.9-sharishth ) Obviously, there will be more potential for ‘breakages’ before -rc1 is released in a weeks time.. NVIDIA – Driver 555.52.04 Kills HDMI
