Kernel 7.2-rc1<\/strong> is due out next Sunday, but – as usual – I have tested the latest (June 23rd) GIT version, to see what breaks..<\/p>\n

The latest VMware (26H1<\/strong>) is OK, but NVIDIA 610.43.02<\/strong> compilation throws many errors, due to changes to drm_atomic_state<\/strong> and strncpy<\/strong>..<\/p>\n

Thanks to Willy Frissen<\/em>, there is already a set of patches for this, at https:\/\/github.com\/babiulep\/my-kernel-patches\/tree\/main\/NVIDIA\/7.1\/610.43.02<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0I applied these, and 610.43.02 compiled successfully, and loads\/runs OK..\u00a0 \u00a0 The patches are marked for ‘7.1’ or ‘7.1\/next’ but are applicable to the version of 7.2-rc that I was testing.<\/p>\n
