During update of the kernel to 6.0.9, on my main dual-xeon Fedora 37 system, I found the following error displayed:<\/p>\n
………………………<\/strong><\/span> As I (obviously) have no apple-specific hardware on my system, I re-ran this with the previous known\/good kernel 6.0.8, and now got the same error..<\/p>\n I then found the following:<\/p>\n On ‘good’ system – \/usr\/lib\/dracut: On ‘bad’ system – \/usr\/lib\/dracut: This suggesting that the ‘addition’ of the asahi info was relatively recent:<\/p>\n https:\/\/github.com\/AsahiLinux\/asahi-scripts\/pull\/9<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n The fix, is to remove 99asahi-firmware<\/strong> in \/usr\/lib\/dracut\/modules.d<\/strong><\/span>, and 10-asahi.conf<\/strong> in \/usr\/lib\/dracut.conf.d<\/strong><\/span>, and then dracut behaves correctly..<\/p>\n It remains to be seen, if the problem occurs again…<\/p>\n Update:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Seems the F37 install pulled in asahi\/dracut, for some reason: So..
