I have been investigating alternatives, as VMware is currently a non-starter (literally..) with Kernel 5.8..<\/p>\n

I installed the latest VirtualBox<\/strong> (6.1.97 r139689<\/strong>) from SVN (another blast from the past…) and managed – after some messing around – to get it to compile OK on my Fedora 32 test system with Kernel 5.8 (from kernel.org..) \u00a0\u00a0 I had to disable documentation creation, as this seemed to be incompatible with Fedora?

The kernel modules then compiled\/installed OK:

Tried WinXP vm, converted from VMware, and this booted OK, but when I enabled USB support, it crashed.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fedora 32 VM + USB also crashes..\u00a0\u00a0 This seems to match other test reports, where some said ‘it works’ and others reported crashes..<\/p>\n
