Odroid to Fedora 20.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just updated the Raspberry Pi to Kernel <strong>3.13.2<\/strong>, from GitHub:<\/p>\n<pre><strong> # git clone -b rpi-3.13.y --single-branch https:\/\/github.com\/raspberrypi\/linux<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>No problems and the system runs OK..<\/p>\n<pre><strong>Pidora release 19 (Raspberry Pi Fedora Remix)<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Kernel 3.13.2+ on an armv6l (ttyAMA0)<\/strong>\r\n<strong>........<\/strong>\r\n<strong>$ uname -a<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Linux rgpi 3.13.2+ #1 PREEMPT Wed Feb 12 14:12:55 GMT 2014 armv6l armv6l armv6l GNU\/Linux<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>The Pi kernel updates are tracking the kernel.org stable releases quite nicely, but &#8211; sadly &#8211; the <strong>Pidora<\/strong> project seems to have stalled &#8211; again..\u00a0\u00a0 There have been no Pidora 19 updates for some time now..\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Looking on the <em>Koji<\/em> build system, there are even some &#8216;Pidora 20&#8217; armv6l builds for several rpms, now, but no sign of a Pidora 20 release, yet..<\/p>\n<p>The situation is far better for armv7l and Fedora, and I now have <strong>Fedora 20<\/strong> running on my new Odroid U3:<\/p>\n<pre><strong>Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug)<\/strong>\r\n<strong>Kernel 3.8.13.4 on an armv7l (ttySAC1)<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p><em>Robert Gadsdon.\u00a0 February 12, 2014.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just updated the Raspberry Pi to Kernel 3.13.2, from GitHub: # git clone -b rpi-3.13.y &#8211;single-branch https:\/\/github.com\/raspberrypi\/linux No problems and the system runs OK..
